Step 2: Choosing Your Stone

We’ll guide you through the best options for your space and usage.

You can choose from:

  • Granite; A natural stone, each slab unique. Extremely durable and rich in character.
  • Quartz; A man-made stone combining natural quartz with resin. Consistent, low-maintenance, and available in a wide colour range.
  • Sintered Stone; Including Dekton and Neolith. These ultra-compact surfaces offer cutting-edge durability, heat resistance, and a huge variety of styles.

You’ll also choose your preferred thickness:

  • 30mm; Traditional, substantial
  • 20mm; Sleek and modern
  • 12mm; Ideal for vertical cladding and ultra-contemporary looks

Once you’ve shortlisted your favourites, we’ll provide a detailed estimate and talk you through what’s included.

Step 3: Placing Your Order

Once you’re happy to proceed:

  • We’ll confirm the details of your order via email
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your material
  • We’ll schedule templating and installation dates to suit your project timeline

Our team is on hand to advise on preparation and what happens next.

Step 4: Templating

When your base units are fully installed, we’ll visit your property to carry out precise digital templating.

This ensures every measurement is accurate and every detail, sink cut-outs, tap holes, overhangs and upstands, is captured perfectly.

Important: Please ensure your sink, taps, hob and any appliances are on-site during this visit.

Step 5: Handcrafted Fabrication

Once your templates are complete, we begin bespoke manufacturing of your stonework in our Cornwall workshop.

If your chosen stone has distinct veining or patterning, you’re welcome to make an appointment to view the slab in person before cutting.

Every surface is cut, edged and finished by our skilled stonemasons, using a mix of traditional craftsmanship and modern tools.

Your worktop is fully sealed (where required) and quality checked before leaving the workshop.

Step 6: Installation

We’ll return to your property on the agreed date to install your new stonework.

Installation time varies depending on the layout and complexity.

We’ll let you know if your slot is AM or PM, and estimate how long the job will take.

Our team work cleanly, respectfully and professionally, treating your home like our own.

Once installed, we’ll talk you through basic care and cleaning, and leave you with a stone surface that’s ready to enjoy for years to come.
