What is Sintered Stone and Why Choose It?

Sintered stone is manufactured from mineral-based materials compacted under high pressure and heat. Exact composition and performance vary by brand and product. Selected surfaces can offer strong resistance to UV exposure, scratches, stains and heat, subject to the manufacturer’s guidance, fabrication and installation. Thin formats can suit vertical and horizontal applications. Many designs use a printed surface pattern rather than a full-body pattern.

After living three years with a badly damaged Quartz work top delivered from a national company who offered a 'Dream Kitchen', I had given up hope of ever having my dream kitchen.  The original company did not have the decency to visit to view the badly damaged work top they had delivered, leaving  me with three years of stress and illness.
